JQ bots are here to stay
Anet has proven they don't have the resources to remove the bots from JQ, and as less people play, the ratio of bots per match has gone way up.
There has been a steady trend of real people only playing on the Kurz side, and allowing the bots the Luxon side. This increases a players likelyhood of winning the match and recieving the maximum amount of faction.
I realize I have no ability to tell everyone what to do, but I think that is a good idea, and I think after you have played a few matches, you will agree with me.

Do we really need 100 topics a day about the bot issue in JQ?

No, you are not screwed, because you get imperial faction just the same, which can be converted to Luxon, if you want it

About a month ago there seemed to be more bots/less real players on the kurzick side.
From personal experience, I find it is more proactive to report the bots as leechers so theres a better chance of them at least sitting out a couple matches.
"But what if I'm the ony one reporting and I end up with dishonor?"
Numerous times I have been the only one reporting and unless someone reports me for leeching or if I disconnect, I seem to get away with it for a couple reports.
Worst case scenario, I get dishonor and have to wait ~5 minutes for dishonor to wear off. I feel thats worth it if a bot who has accumulated more dishonor than I, has to wait longer than I. Course thats only if they have been reported before for leeching.
tl:dr Dishonor is cumulative, please report when you can.

During the 7th bday/anniversary event I played a good 10 matches of JQ every day, only a handful of which I was on the Kurzick side. Those handful, I lost every match. However, playing on the Luxon side I only lost maybe a couple matches. I also seemed to see a higher bots to humans ratio on the Kurzick side than Luxon. But perhaps this was only cause of the anniversary event.

It flip-flops between each side about every few weeks, atm human players tend to be on luxon more often than kurzicks imo.

TBH you're just advocating wasting one's own time for an insignificant faux-victory because more often than not there are usually less than 3 people on your team and you're going to pick up much more dishonour than any of the bots you report, much faster. Unfortunely, that is the state of things in this game.

Sorry, I was actually trying to advocate to report as a leecher rather than bot so they sit out a few rounds with dishonor. And if said bot has been reported before they would have more 'demerits' toward dishonor than you. So unless your account has racked up reports, a few single reports will get the bots to sit out before its hurts your account.
Or I guess don't do anything. Then wonder why your team is still full of bots.

How do you benefit by replying to this post by suggesting that " well, when I play... or I believe the Luxon side wins more"?
Are you really so attached to being a Luxon that you are unwilling to allow it to become the bot side, or are you a bot runner and realize how having all the real players on one side is a detriment to your farming?
Yes, report bots as leechers, we can not control which side they play on, but we can make them sit out a couple rounds.
I played recently, there were so many bots, the yellow shrine was never claimed.
Please don't skew the point of my original post in this thread.

Then I guess, Anet/Ncsoft should do something about it. The player base/customer is speaking out with out with our 100 topics and want something done about this crap.
Of course one could argue that the bots are the only thing keeping PvP in this game alive as it lies on its death bed...lol
For game built up as a PvP game we sure have come along way from what once was.
I for one would like to see some bots in Alliance Battles would be cool to play that format again. Of course even on AB weekends and Zaishen Days, no one is in any of the towns. Could really use some bots in AB ...lol
Edited:
I like the idea of the community coming together to stick to all these "Buts", If we all band together and stick to one side. We can start to crash these botters party.
If Anet/Nsoft are not going to do another mass ban like in the past, then we need to take it into our own hands and work together to make it hard as possible for the bots to function.

I played in a match on the Kurz side last night where I initially claimed all three shrines. Not a single human or bot ran to them. And of course we won 10-0.

Sure thing.
For something to happen, maybe official support forums and one single, well organized and documented forum topic are better suited tough.

Maybe it's not that they're attached to playing as Luxons so much as they don't want to try and force about a suuuuuuuuuuuper lame way of winning. I'd rather play against real players and have a legit match than force/attempt to force a game that's real people vs. bots. Also I'd report the bots as leechers too, it isn't really a waste of time... and pseudo-victory is better than no victory. Typing /report _____ ____ _____ and clicking leeching etc etc takes like... 5 seconds.

well the leeching/reporting system works in such that you have to have at least 1/2 your team report the person as leeching for it to have a major effect. and if less than 1/3 of a team reports a player. the people who report actually get 2 dishonor points for false reporting. so reporting bots in JQ is actually and essentially a waste of time. if you want human vs human. play fort aspenwood

more often than not, if I report the bots, I end up getting the dishonor hex. In a rage after the last time I sent a strongly worded message to guildwars support venting my frustrations. I included a screenshot of the suspected bots. within 4 hours they had emailed me back saying they investigated the situation and terminated the offending accounts. Whether this is true or not I have no way to know for sure but I suggest instead of reporting ingame, just take a screenshot and go to guildwars.custhelp.com and submit a question asking if they care enough about the games reputation to do anything about the bots.
